Happy SPRING! I hope this e-mail finds everyone doing well. First of all, I just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to all my new subscribers for subscribing to my e-mail list! It really means A LOT to me to have your support and that you would trust me to come into your inbox every once in a while! I'm hoping to provide you with lots of helpful design information, tips, healthy recipes, etc and to inspire you to discover and create more beauty in your own life! I would be so grateful if you shared my blog with friends and family that you think might love this sort of content!
It's been some time since I have had the chance to write! We have been so busy plugging away at homeschooling, getting ready to wrap up our year soon; keeping our 1 1/2 year old out of trouble, and just managing daily life with 3 kiddos! Sometimes it feels like a lot, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I feel blessed!
What are you most looking forward to in this new season? Are you building a garden? Trying to grow your own food this year? Planting flowers? I'd love to hear some of your plans!
I'm *hoping* to write a post soon about our 2 gardens. One of them we call the "Fruit Forest" which contains our greenhouse; the other is a raised-bed garden attached to our barn.
What's NEW on the Blog

What's coming up here at Fern Acres...
I'm so excited that my sister is getting married in June(!), and we have the awesome privilege of hosting her bridal shower here in our barn on the property at the beginning of May. There is lots to do before then: cleaning out the barn (which serves as storage when not in use for art classes and other events), cleaning up all of our garden areas - (they're going to need a lot of TLC), and preparing all the fun shower activities. I can't wait to share all the details with you!
Well, that's all for now! Please comment and let me know if you make any of the recipes, or if you have any questions or anything you'd like to share!
See you next time,
Elizabeth
